What is Acupuncture?
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to restore, promote and maintain good health.
Acupuncture needles are inserted into specific
locations along clearly defined channels known as
meridians, to stimulate the body’s healing energy or ‘Qi’ to activate the body’s self-regulating systems, stimulating its natural healing abilities and promoting physical and emotional well-being.
What conditions can Acupuncture help with?
There is increasing scientific research to demonstrate the effectiveness of acupuncture for treating a wide
variety of conditions. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has produced a list of disease categories for which Traditional Chinese Acupuncture may benefit, for example:
